For in person sessions, if you are feeling ill/exhibiting symptoms of illness prior to your session, please contact us immediately. Your session will be postponed and you will receive a virtual credit equal to the amount you paid for the session to use at a later date.

For in person classes and events, please note our Classes, Workshops and Events policy below, as classes and events are non-refundable. If you notify us that you are feeling ill/exhibiting symptoms of illness at least 5 hours prior to the official start time of the class or event, you will receive a credit equal to the amount you paid for the class or event to use at a later date.

By scheduling a session with Hypno Nerd, you acknowledge that Hypno Nerd and its owner(s), employees, contractors or authorized representatives are not medical professionals and the products and services offered do not replace medical care from a medical professional.

The products and services offered by Hypno Nerd do not replace psychiatric care. The products and services offered byHypno Nerd cannot diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent an illness. Hypno Nerd is not liable for any decisions made by you the client following a session concerning your health and/or your life in general.

Everything discussed during the session is to be kept completely confidential by both parties. If you are taught anything during the session, the information is not to be repeated or replicated as your own.

Privacy Notice:

No information about any client will be discussed or shared with any third party without the written consent of the client or parent/guardian if the client is under 18.

Policies for First-Time Clients:

First-time clients must complete the Client Intake Form. Completion of the intake form is required before the first session can be conducted. The client’s scheduled session time will not be extended due to them needing to complete the form upon arrival for the appointment.

Payment Terms:

• Hypno Nerd accepts the following methods of payment: Credit and Debit Cards. Hypno Nerd uses Stripe and Square as payment processors.

• Payment in full is due at the time you schedule your session.

• To schedule sessions for coaching packages, a 50% deposit must be paid. The remaining 50% must be paid to begin sessions.

Late Arrival/No Show/Cancellation Policies:

LATE ARRIVALS:

Appointments will not extend past the originally scheduled appointment end time. Clients will not receive a refund for any portion of their missed appointment time.

NO SHOWS:

A client is considered a no-show if 20 minutes have elapsed since the start of their appointment and they have not arrived at the appointment location. No shows will not be refunded and will forfeit any monies paid to Hypno Nerd for the session. No-shows who paid a deposit to secure their appointment will be charged for the balance due immediately via the payment method on file used to secure the appointment.

CANCELLATIONS:

Canceled appointments will not be refunded. Clients are encouraged to reschedule rather than cancel appointments. Clients have up to 48 hours prior to their session start time to reschedule their appointment. Please note: After TWO (2) consecutive reschedules, the client’s appointment will be marked as canceled, and the client forfeits any money that has been paid to Hypno Nerd. If the client wishes to schedule another appointment, he or she will not be credited for any money paid to secure the rescheduled appointment(s).

CLASSES, WORKSHOPS & EVENTS:

Classes, workshops, and events are non-refundable unless canceled or rescheduled by Hypno Nerd. In the case of cancelation or rescheduling by Hypno Nerd, you will have the option of receiving a refund, or priority registration for the rescheduled date.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

Subscriptions are a way for clients to receive a discount on hypnosis sessions as well as a way to ensure appointment space is available each month. Only a certain number of subscriptions will be available to ensure appointment availability for subscribers and non-subscribing clients. Clients with a subscription will not be allowed to book more 3 saved up sessions per month. If you subscribe to an individual session and would like to upgrade one of your sessions to an Advanced session, a $40 invoice will be mailed to you upon request. This invoice must be paid before the scheduled session.

Hypno Nerd Liability Policy:

By booking a session with Hypno Nerd, you the client are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of purchasing services from Hypno Nerd: I understand and acknowledge that hypnosis is not a cure, but a supportive tool of my own healing. I understand that Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy are simple, gentle, energy techniques that are used for stress reduction and relaxation.  I understand that Enneagram Coaching sessions and healing ritual events are for entertainment purposes only. I understand that Hypno Nerd, its owner(s), employees, independent contractors, affiliates and/or authorized representatives are not medical professionals and cannot diagnose conditions nor prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. I understand that the products or services provided to me by Hypno Nerd do not take the place of medical care. I understand that it is recommended that I see a licensed physician or licensed healthcare professional for any physical or psychological ailment I may have. I understand that the products and services provided by Hypno Nerd can complement, but cannot replace any medical or psychological care I may need and/or be receiving. I acknowledge that it is not possible to estimate the number of sessions I will need to resolve the issue(s) which necessitate my decision to utilize the services of Hypno Nerd. I further acknowledge that it is not possible to guarantee any specific outcomes for any sessions I receive from Hypno Nerd.
